Awais Sheikh led strategic planning for Amazon Web Services’ largest public sector sales organization, advising executives against multi-billion-dollar goals. Before that he was capability development lead for MITRE’s Business Innovation Capability, building the practice around design thinking and lean startup methods, and worked as a systems engineer in MITRE’s Center for Enterprise Modernization. He co-founded Forerunners, and in 2019 won the Eugene M. DeLoatch Legacy Award at the BEYA STEM Conference.
