Terms of Sale

Effective Date: September 15, 2026
Last Updated: September 15, 2026

These terms apply to tickets, booths, sponsorships and upgrades bought on habibi.tech for Habibi Tech Weekend 2026, and to applications filed here. The seller is AI Sustainable Development Group, Inc., a nonprofit charitable organization registered in the State of New York and a 501(c)(3) organization ("we", "our", "us").

By completing a purchase or submitting an application you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The Weekend

Habibi Tech Weekend 2026 is three separate events:

  • Pickleball Social, Friday September 25, 8 PM to midnight, Velto Pickleball Club, Red Hook, Brooklyn.
  • Habibi Tech Summit, Saturday September 26, 9 AM to 5 PM, Civic Hall, Union Square, Manhattan.
  • VIP Dinner, Saturday September 26, 8 PM to 11 PM, Boathouse Rooftop, Astoria, Queens.

Each is ticketed separately. Some tickets carry admission to more than one of them; what a given ticket admits you to is stated on the ticket page at the time you buy it and on your confirmation.

2. Every Admission Names a Person

  • Each admission is issued to one named attendee with their own name, email address and QR code. You will be asked for those details for every ticket in your order, including tickets you are buying for other people.
  • One person may hold one admission per event. You cannot buy two Summit admissions for the same person. You can hold an admission to each of the three events, because they are three events.
  • Floor space is the exception. A vendor table or a booth is not an admission, so the person working it holds both the table and their own ticket.
  • To correct a name, or to pass an admission to somebody else, write to info@habibi.tech. We will reissue the QR code to its new holder. We do not charge for this.

3. Prices and Payment

  • Prices rise in waves. The price you see when you buy is the price you pay. A later increase does not affect a ticket already bought, and a later decrease does not entitle you to a refund of the difference.
  • Card processing is added on top of the ticket price and is shown on its own line before you press the pay button. An $80 ticket is charged at $82.70. This is the processor's fee and we do not keep it.
  • Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Group saving. Three or more full-price admissions in one order reduce the total automatically, and again for every further three. There is no code to enter. It does not combine with a promo code: you get whichever is worth more, and we tell you which on the page.
  • Promo codes apply only to the items they cover, may be limited in number, and may be withdrawn at any time before use.
  • All prices are in US dollars.

4. All Sales Are Final

Tickets, booths, sponsorships and upgrades are non-refundable. This applies whether or not you attend, and it applies to every product sold on this site. Please be sure before you pay.

The exceptions are in section 7, and they are ours to trigger rather than yours: if we cancel an event, or move it far enough that your ticket is no longer for the thing you bought.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

5. Particular Tickets

  • Student tickets are sold at an underwritten price and require a valid student email address at purchase and a valid student ID at the door. If you cannot produce one, the ticket is not honoured and you would need to upgrade at the door at the General Admission price on the day.
  • Discovery tickets include everything General Admission includes, with reservations in the breakout rooms limited to two across the day. The main hall is unlimited and takes no reservation.
  • VIP tickets carry admission to the Pickleball Social and the VIP Dinner as well as the Summit.
  • Press passes are issued on application and are not for sale. See section 9.
  • Upgrades convert a ticket you already hold and are priced as today's price for the higher tier less what you actually paid. Your QR code does not change.
  • Some sessions are restricted to particular ticket types. Where that is the case it is stated on the session.

6. Booths and Sponsorships

  • A booth or table is floor space for the day of the Summit. The people working it each need their own admission, which can be bought in the same order.
  • The floor is curated. If you are unsure whether what you are bringing is a fit, ask us before you pay, because there is no refund afterwards.
  • Stand allocation is ours. We will tell you your stand number before the day.
  • Sponsorships are agreed individually and are governed by the written agreement between us, which takes precedence over these terms where the two differ. Where a sponsorship includes admissions, those are issued as ordinary tickets at no charge and each must name its own attendee.

7. Changes and Cancellation

  • The programme, the speakers, the schedule and the session list may change. We will tell you about material changes, but a change of speaker or session is not grounds for a refund.
  • If we cancel an event outright, we will refund the amount paid for admission to that event. That is the limit of our liability for a cancellation.
  • If we change the date or the venue significantly, your ticket carries over to the new date or venue, and you may instead ask for a refund of that event's admission within 14 days of us telling you.
  • We may refuse admission to, or remove, anybody behaving in a way that is unsafe, harassing, or in breach of section 8, without a refund.

8. Conduct and Media

Habibi Tech Weekend is a professional event. Attendees, vendors, sponsors, volunteers and press are expected to treat each other with respect. Harassment, intimidation and discriminatory conduct are grounds for removal without a refund.

Media Release Notice: Habibi Tech Weekend 2026, which is the Summit, the Pickleball Social and the VIP Dinner, will feature professional photography, videography, and press coverage. By purchasing a ticket and attending, you acknowledge and consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded, and grant AI Sustainable Development Group, Inc. a perpetual, royalty-free license to use such recordings for promotional, marketing, editorial, and journalistic purposes, including but not limited to social media, press materials, event recaps, and future event promotion, without further notice or compensation.

If you would prefer not to appear in our own photography, tell a member of staff at the registration desk and we will do what we reasonably can. We cannot control independent press covering the event.

9. Applications

Press passes, volunteer places and speaking slots are applied for, not bought. Submitting an application is not acceptance, nothing is issued until a person on our team approves it, and we are not obliged to give reasons for a decision. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old on the day of the Summit.

10. Attending

  • You will need your QR code at the door. It is scanned once per event.
  • Venues have their own rules, capacities and accessibility provisions, and you are subject to them while you are there.
  • You are responsible for your own belongings and your own travel and accommodation. We do not reimburse these in any circumstance, including cancellation.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with your ticket is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including travel and accommodation costs.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and the courts of the State of New York have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
