Sahar Albazar sits in the Egyptian House of Representatives as Deputy Chair of its Foreign Affairs Committee, and chairs foreign affairs for Mostaqbal Watan. She was elected President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union’s Forum of Young Parliamentarians, which represents more than 24,000 young MPs across 178 countries. She founded and chairs the Ubuntu Parliamentary Initiative for Climate Finance and sits on the executive board of Parliamentarians for Global Action. She holds an MPA from Harvard, is a Yale World Fellow, and was named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2022.
