Nadah Feteih holds a BS and MS in computer science from UC San Diego, focused on systems and security, and worked as a software engineer on Messenger Privacy and Instagram Privacy at Meta, promoted to senior within two years. She kept finding herself the only woman in hijab on the trail, so in February 2023 she took twenty Muslim women camping in Death Valley for three nights. That became Ma’wa Collective, now past sixty group trips and 1,200 participants. She also founded Muslim Women in Tech.
