About

Naureen Rahman leads development and marketing at the Muslim Public Affairs Council, running the fundraising, donor engagement and brand strategy behind its national advocacy work. She spent eighteen years at the US Department of Homeland Security, advising senior leadership and leading policy initiatives including Face Recognition Technologies and Use of AI. Her work has also taken her to the Gambia, training judges for the Pan-African human rights tribunal, and into joint refugee camp programmes with DHS, the State Department and the United Nations. She holds a JD in international law from Catholic University of America and an LLM in human rights from George Washington University.
