Sania Khan is a labor economist and Chief Economist at Becoming You Labs, where she works on what artificial intelligence is doing to jobs, to skills and to the shape of a career. She was previously chief economist and head of market insights at Eightfold AI, reading the labor market for the inflection points, risks and opportunities that move it and turning them into forward-looking analysis for the employers who have to plan against them. Before that she spent nearly a decade at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics as head of product and senior economist, where she oversaw the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages — the country’s largest data collection program, covering industry, employment and wage information for U.S. businesses. She writes on work and AI for Inc. and ERE, is the author of Think Like an Economist, and was named one of the 100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics.
