Humna Khan spent two decades in aerospace before founding a company to close a gap she kept running into. She was program manager for NASA’s Process Control Program in the Office of Safety and Mission Assurance, then Director of Quality Engineering at SpaceX, where her supply chain work spanned Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, landing legs, stage returns and Dragon. In 2020 she founded ASTRO, the first test lab dedicated to additive science, which validates and qualifies the mechanical properties of 3D printed metal alloys for New Space, defense and government customers.
