Jay Sadiq grew up with asthma in Abu Dhabi, one of the hottest cities in the world, which is the short version of why he founded FortyGuard there in 2020. The company started on climate-conscious materials and moved to data, building a Temperature Operating System that maps urban heat in real time and at human height, rather than as the citywide averages conventional monitoring produces. Cities and planners buy the readings as a service. FortyGuard is now scaling into the United States.
