Mohamed Ali Hafez

Mo Hafez is an emerging technology strategist, educator, speaker, and host of the Beyond the Byte podcast. He teaches Artificial Intelligence, Renewable Energy and Climate Change at Johns Hopkins University, where his work focuses on making emerging technologies accessible to nontechnical audiences and exploring their implications for society, policy, and human capability. He is also the founder of ByteWise, an ethical innovation and technology strategy firm, and serves on the advisory board of the AI in Washington Conference and on the membership committee of the Association of AI Ethicists. His work sits at the intersection of AI, emerging technology, education, ethics, storytelling, and social impact.
