Unfair Advantage: How Small Teams Win with AI
Saturday, September 262:10 PM – 2:55 PMAl-Quds
About this session
The advantage used to be headcount. A competitor with two hundred people could out-ship, out-sell and out-support you, and the only answer was to raise money and hire two hundred of your own. That assumption is coming apart. The teams taking share in category after category are not the ones who hired hardest, and the work those departments used to do has not gone away, it just stopped needing them.
Who this is for
Founders competing against companies many times their size, and anyone inside a large one wondering why a team of six is suddenly taking their customers.
On the table
- Which advantages does size genuinely buy, and which of them were only ever headcount?
- Where does a small team beat an incumbent on purpose, and where does it only look like it is winning?
- What breaks first when six people carry the workload of sixty?
You'll leave with
- A read on where an incumbent is actually slow, and which of those gaps a small team can reach
- The shape of a company built to stay small on purpose, and the roles it decides never to fill again
- The failure modes that come with it, named before you meet them
Speakers
September 26 at Civic Hall, New York. Sessions are added to the agenda as they are confirmed.
