Yusuf Omar is a co-founder of Seen, the cross-platform video publishing company formerly called Hashtag Our Stories, which he started with Sumaiya Omar and which has grown past seven million subscribers. He has reported as a foreign correspondent using only a phone since 2010, including from the Syrian civil war. He was CNN's senior social media reporter on Snapchat, and mobile editor at the Hindustan Times in India, where he trained 750 journalists to report on their phones. Seen has run training in more than forty countries.
